The Head of Indonesian National Police (INP) Public Relations Division, Inspector General Sandi Nugroho gives instruction to six members who got the highest score in PR General Competency. Sandi says that the six members are cadets of INP PR Division. They got the score of 80-90 in PR General Competency. “For these six members, please sir Trunoyudo, give them their scholarship. So for those of you who have not gone to college, you could registered yourself for the Bachelor’s degree, while for those of you who are bachelors, you are welcome to pursue double degree,” said Sandi on Monday (2/26/2024). Other than awarding with scholarship, Sandi also gave 31 participants with certificate and will be processed by their respective regional police. The PR General Competency is part INP Chief Regulations Number 6 of 2023 regarding public relations in INP environment. According to Sandi, based on that Regulations, it is clear that all INP members are responsible for public relations duty. “At least we are aware with the issues in public relations, so when anyone asked us, we could deliver the answer properly according to the public relations standard,” said Sandi. Sandi noted that as the they bear the PR responsibilities for INP, they are obliged to act wisely in front of the public. “That is why we have to remind each other, for our own evaluation,” conclude Sandi.
