inp.polri.go.id - Bandar Lampung. The Head of East Lampung Sub-regional Police, Superintendent Benny Prasetya held a social activity of providing aid to farmers in the area in support of the National Food Security Program.

In his visit to farmers, Benny has provided aid to several farmer groups in Muara Village. The farmers include vegetable, fruit, and rice farmers.

He explained that this activity aims to boost the enthusiasm of farmers in their work so that they can support increasing food production in the region.

The assistance provided includes hats and boots to support the comfort and safety of farmers when working in the field.

He also said that this assistance is expected to ease the burden of farmers who are at the forefront of providing food.

"Farmers are the heroes of our food security. They work hard to ensure that food needs are met. This assistance is a form of our appreciation to farmers and our hope that they will be more enthusiastic in farming," he said.

He conveyed that it is important to maintain a strong collaboration between the police and the community in supporting food security.

"The East Lampung Sub-regional Police are committed to participating in maintaining regional food stability by supporting the agricultural sector which is the mainstay of the East Lampung community's economy," he explained.

This assistance program also demonstrates a concrete step of police in supporting the national program that focuses on food security as an effort to strengthen economic stability, especially in the East Lampung Regency area.

With the support of various parties, including the East Lampung Sub-regional Police, it is hoped that the agricultural sector in the area can continue to develop and provide a significant contribution to meeting national food needs.
