Inp.polri.go.id – Maluku. Thousands of boxes containing ballot papers for the 2024 Election have arrived at Ambon Container Terminal Port (TPK) on Sunday (12/10/2023) night. The arrival of election logistics with Tanto Ships has been secured and escorted by Salawaku Mantap Brata Operation (OMB) Task Force of Maluku Regional Police, Ambon Sub-regional Police, General Election Commission (KPU), and Maluku Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu). The ballots will be then delivered to Ambon City, Southwest Maluku Regency (MBD), and Eastern Seram (SBT). “The ballots that we have received last night are about two containers for Ambon City, MBD and SBT Regencies. We immediately conduct sterilization operation for the ballots and has been secured by OMB personnel,” says Maluku Regional Police PR Chief, Senior Superintendent Mohamad Roem Ohoirat on Monday (12/11/2023). Mohamad also reveals that Maluku KPU will dissect and moved the ballots. The moving of the ballots will be escorted by Salawaku OMB of Maluku Regional Police to its destinations. “The plan is to dissect and move the ballot on Monday (12/11/2023). For Ambon City and SBT Regency will be moved by land, while for MBD regency will be moved by sea,” adds Mohamad. The PR Chief of Maluku Regional Police also hoped that the escort and security of logistics distribution would goes safely and smoothly until it arrives at the warehouse. (ad/my/pr/nm)
