inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Attorney General Sanitiar Burhanuddin instructed all members to remain neutral during the 2024 Regional Head Election and to punish those who broke the law.

The statement came when Burhanuddin led the ceremony for the 64th Anniversary of Indonesian Attorney at Indonesian Prosecutor's Office Education and Training Agency, Ragunan, South Jakarta, Monday (7/22/2024).

“I just want to remind you that on November 27th there will be a Regional Head Election and it needs thorough preparation from the Attorney in the Integrated Law Enforcement Central. Also, what I want to highlight is for us to be neutral in the election, I want you to remain neutral,” remarks Burhanuddin.

He affirmed that there is no place for political practice in the Attorney, The neutrality of an Attorney in election is a must and the principle must be held firmly. He vows that anyone who dares to violate it will be punished severely.

“Happy 64th Anniversary for the Indonesian Attorney, all good wishes and hope in our happy day, I pray we will continue to be greater and stronger,” wished Burhanuddin for his institution’s anniversary.
