inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Authority of Nusantara Capital City (OIKN) assures the city’s clean water facilities preparation have been completed.

“We did our review and we can assure that the clean water facilities for IKN are safe without any problems. Clean water is one of the primary needs for the city that we need to prepare,” says the Acting Deputy of OIKN, Raja Juli Antoni on Monday (7/22/2024).

As of now, the clean water supply will be from Intake Sepaku. The raw water supply from the river will be processed through the drinking water supply system (SPAM) which is adjacent to the Intake Sepaku.

Then, the clean water that has been processed in SPAM will be flowed to the IKN governmental center area through a 16 kilometer pipe.

“Then, the clean water will be distributed to each building used for state events,” explained Raja Juli.

From the review of Raja Juli and Team on clean water supply, he assures that the Intake Sepaku could supply 3,000 liters of water per second, while Semoi Sepaku Dam could supply 2,500 liters of water per second.

“The clean waters from the reservoirs will be distributed to all building units in the Central Government Core Area. In general, all preparations must be assured to be working well to support the state event going smoothly,” conclude Raja Juli.
