Bali Govt Asked the Public Not to Fly Drones or Kites during AIS Forum Summit

Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Bali Government implores the public to not fly the drones during the preparation or when the Archipelagic and Island States (AIS) Forum Summit was taken hold. The Regional Secretary of Bali Government, Made Indra emphasized the prohibitions to ensure the comfort and security of the international event. “Regarding the 2023 AIS Forum Summit security, Indonesian National Police (INP) has secured it through their 2023 Tribrata Agung Operation, and the drone prohibition has been authorized in that operation,” says Indra on Thursday (10/10/2023). He says that the anticipation and mitigation measures of the INP operation will be carried out by the Action Task Force. The task force tasked in handling various disturbance potential such as social conflicts, terrorism, or any other criminal acts. Prohibition in flying drones also applies to kites, as flying kites is also a usual activity of Balinese. (ad/ndt/pr/nm)
