Inp.polri.go.id - Denpasar. The Bali Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights has introduced the "Golden Visa" scheme to Russian investors, recognizing their potential to boost economic growth.

Pramella Yunidar Pasaribu, the Head of Kemenkumham Bali, said on Wednesday (18/9/2024) that this visa offers various incentives to attract foreign investors to Indonesia, including Bali.

“We see significant potential from Russian investors and will continue to facilitate their investment through the Golden Visa program,” she said during a meeting with Russian Ambassador Sergei G. Tolchenov on Wednesday, as reported by antaranews.com.

The meeting also focused on monitoring foreign nationals and preventing legal violations. Bali has already seen substantial foreign investment, with $210.6 million across 13,662 projects by mid-2024.

This year 26 Russian nationals were deported from Bali for visa misuse and other violations.

The Golden Visa aims to attract more direct foreign investment while maintaining order and security on the island.
