The South Denpasar Sector Police is currently investigating the accident that led to the tragic death of bodybuilder Justyn Vicky while he was exercising with a 210-kilogram barbell. Police First Inspector Guruh Firmansyah, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Denpasar Police Sector, stated that despite the body of the bodybuilder, whose real name was Herman Fausi (34), already being buried by his family, the police are still conducting a series of investigative actions to determine the cause of his death. "We have conducted an investigation, and for now, we are still examining witnesses. So far, we have examined three people," he said as quoted by Antaranews on Monday (24/7/23). The three witnesses examined by the investigators are associated with the management and employees of The Paradise Bali Gym located on Danau Tamblingan Street, Denpasar. However, he currently unable to provide the details on the chronology of the incident, as the investigation is still ongoing. "I have not drawn any conclusions regarding regarding that (the chronology of the incident). Once all aspects are examined, we will provide a comprehensive explanation," he assured. He also explained that the police has not been able to determine the exact cause of the Justyn Vicky's death. The police are actively examining witnesses, conducting on-site investigations, and collaborating with various parties to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the circumstances surrounding the bodybuilder's death. Regarding the possibility of foul play in the case of the fitness influencer's death, he stated that they cannot provide any information at this time. The police initially received information about the incident on Sunday (15/7) before it went viral on social media.
