Inp.polri.go.id - Banjarbaru. The Banjarbaru Sub-regional Police in Kalimantan destroyed on Wednesday (24/4/2024) 1.7 kilograms of methamphetamine, valued at Rp2 billion, allegedly linked to Fredy Pratama's drug network.

Assistant Superintendent Tukiman, accompanied by First Inspector Denny Juniansyah, led the drug destruction at the Banjarbaru Police headquarters.

The effort aimed to ensure transparency in handling the case and prevent evidence misuse, he said.

The methamphetamine, worth billions of rupiah, resulted from a 17 March 2024, investigation into drug trafficking, according to antaranews.com.

Five suspects, including SA, AS, HSR, SVT, and RS, were arrested across different locations.

They played various roles, from distribution to supply.

The network imported methamphetamine from Malaysia, distributing it in Banjarmasin and Banjarbaru. This was the second shipment, totaling 2 kilograms, with 1.7 kilograms seized; the rest had already been distributed.

The destruction was in accordance with the South Kalimantan Regional Police and the Banjarbaru Prosecutor's Office directives.
