Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Riau Island Regional Police PR Chief, Grand Commissioner Zahwani Pandra Arsyad visits Batam Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) on Thursday (11/9/2023). During the visit, Head of Batam Bawaslu, Antonius Itoloha Gaho remarks the importance of collaboration between Bawaslu and Indonesian National Police in preparing 2024 elections. A strong collaboration between institutions could be the key in guaranteeing the success of the election. “INP preparation, particularly the Riau Island Regional Police, in ensuring the security of democracy is something that should be appreciated. We offer our highest gratitude to the police for supporting the security of Bawaslu for 2024 Elections,” thanked Gaho. Bawaslu assessed that the collaboration between the two institutions is a positive initiative in ensuring elections would go smoothly. “Lastly, we want to announce that the candidates who will run for the elections have been determined. This marks an important step for further stages. This is also a proof of Batam Bawaslu commitment in ensuring the success of 2024 election, while also strengthening collaboration with the police for a greater cause,” conclude Gaho. (ad/rd/pr/nm)
