Inp.polri.go.id – Boyolali. Boyolali Sub-regional Police raid a house in Tegalsari Village, Boyolali Regency following a report of dice gambling site. The site, surprisingly, is the house of the village head, initialed MY, and he was there along with other eight suspects during the raid. “The case disclosure was thanks to the community report who smelled suspicious activity in the village head house,” says the Boyolali Sub-regional Police Chief, Superintendent Petrus P. Silalahi. Moreover, following the report, Boyolali Sub-regional Police Criminal Investigation Unit Chief, First Police Inspector Joko Purwadi immediately responded the report and dispatch the unit to raid the location. The result was that his unit able to apprehend nine suspects along with the evidence. Joko reveals that of the nine suspects secured by the police, they are HW (49), TM (34), WR (44), MLY (53), KM (60), WD (70), GY (59), NG (50), and MY (60). He continued that his party also confiscated a money cash of IDR 3,280,000, thirteen dices, a coconut shell, and a dice table. In his closing statement, Joko states that the suspect would be charged with Article 303 paragraph (1) 2 and 3 of the Criminal Code carries a maximum prison sentence of 10 years.
