Central Java Police Inaugurated 150 Volunteers at Tirang Beach

inp.polri.go.id - The Central Java Regional Police inaugurated the Arnavat SAR Team and Volunteers, at Tirang Beach, Semarang City on Saturday (03/09/2022) morning. The inauguration was led directly by the Directtor of Water and Air Police of the Central Java Police, Commissioner Hariyadi and was accompanied by the Head of the Central Java SAR, Heru Suhartanto. Commissioner Hariyadi expressed his gratitude and highest appreciation from the Central Java Police to the volunteers who have joined the Arnavat SAR Team. "The Arnavat SAR Team and Volunteers were formed by the Central Java Police Water and Air Police Directorate in collaboration with the Central Java SAR Office as a quick response to water natural disasters in Central Java," he said. In this inauguration, he said there were 150 team members and volunteers who were from the surrounding community who had been trained and had certification and SAR qualifications. He also ordered the Chief Unit of Water and Air Police in the ranks to immediately form a similar team in their area. Not to forget, he also advised the volunteers to keep practicing to hone the skills they already have. "Always be ready to respond to all forms of events in the area and always help the community and provide excellent service to the community," he explained. In this activity, Commissioner Hariyadi also led the planting of cypress trees around the coast of Tirang Beach and witnessed a demonstration of how to save a drowning person by the Arnavat Team and Volunteers. The activity was closed with a party which was also enjoyed by visitors and the community around Tirang Beach.
