The Central Java Regional Police Public Relations Chief, Senior Superintendent Satake Bayu urge citizens to maintain public peace and order along with security officials amidst the open campaign season from January 21st to February 10th, 2024. “We implore Central Java citizens to proactively maintain security and order, particularly during this open campaign season. The success in in establishing peace and secure situation requires support from many parties, which obviously include the public,” said Bayu during a press conference in Central Java Regional Police HQ. Furthermore, Bayu emphasized the importance of respecting differences in opinion. People have to remember although their political opinion differs, they are still the citizens of Central Java. “On the other hand, we also urged the people to not use loud exhaust which disturbs public comfort. This is initiative is considered to be significant measure in establishing comfort for the general public, particularly during the campaign period,” Bayu continued. In his closing remarks, Central Java Regional Police committed to intensify patrol during the open campaign period and collaborates with related stakeholders to anticipate security disturbances.
