Inspector General Agus Nugroho, Chief of the Central Sulawesi Regional Police, has disclosed several potential threats in the upcoming 2024 elections, drawing insights from the 2019 elections. Addressing the matter on Friday (11/10/23), the two-star general stated, "There are certainly indications of threats. We reflect on the experiences of the 2019 (elections)." Emphasizing proactive measures, he assured that all potential threats have been adequately anticipated. He expressed optimism that the challenges witnessed in 2019 would not recur in 2024. Appealing for collaboration from various stakeholders, particularly the community of Central Sulawesi Province, he urged for collective efforts to maintain order.
