Operation Assistant and Chief of Traffic Corps of National Police Appreciates Innovation of Central Java in Christmas and New Year Security BREBES – In ensuring the traffic smoothness and security during the Christmas and New Year, Operation Assistant for Chief of National Police, Police Inspector General Imam Sugianto, and Chief of Traffic Corps of National Police, Police Inspector General Firman Santyabudi, held assistance activities at the service post of Pejagan toll gate, Brebes, on Saturday morning (25/12). According to him, handling public mobility during Christmas and New Year requires coordination of all stakeholders from tollroad managers to local government. "Central Java is the centre point for the public moving from Jakarta to East Java, and vice versa. They gather in Central Java to take a break before continuing their journey", Police Inspector General Firman said. More than that, the Chief of Traffic Corps asked the personnel to be aware, considering that public crowds invite Covid-19 transmission possibilities at the service stations. "Therefore, the service post at the toll road not only provides security and service to people but also on the enforcement of Health Protocols and vaccination outlet", he added. Chief of Central Java Regional Police, Police Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi, affirmed that Central Java Regional Police to conduct security integration at the service posts.
