inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs held coordination meetings between ministries to unite their perception in taking the steps resolving the issues of customary law ulayat land.

The coordination meeting put its focus on discussing the Agrarian and Spatial Planning Ministerial Regulation Number 14 of 2024 concerning Implementation of Administration and Registration of Customary Law Community Land.

“Several things discussed in here is synchronizing the cross-ministerial regulation in solving customary law customary land issues, socializing these regulations to the community and finally equalizing data on customary community land in each ministry," said Coordinating Minister Hadi in a written statement on Tuesday (7/23/2024).

He considers that data synchronization is necessary so that all ministerial institutions will have the same basis in resolving land dispute issues.

With the data and regulation synchronization, Minister Hadi hopes that the resolution of indigenous people's land problems can be carried out quickly and provide solutions for all parties.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) appreciates the initiative taken by the Coordinating Minister Hadi. Minister AHY saw that the meeting is very important to unite the perception taken by every institution in resolving the issues of customary law ulayat land.
