Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) has reported a significant surge in public security and order disturbances on Monday (24/7/23), showing an increase of 101,35% compared to Sunday (23/7/23).
Head of the Public Affairs Bureau at the INP Public Relations Division Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan stated that there were 1.052 incidents on Monday (24/7/23). The most prevalent incident was theft with aggravated circumstances (burglary), with 197 cases reported.
"Among the 5 highest crime cases are 197 cases of burglaries, 142 cases of narcotics, 75 cases of motorcycle theft, 8 cases of gambling, and 29 cases of robbery with violence," he explained.
Additionally, there were 590 traffic accidents during this period, resulting in a total loss of Rp1.431.450.000.
"The number of accidents totaled 590, with 45 fatalities, 68 severe injuries, and 596 minor injuries," he said.
