Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Central Sulawesi Mobile Brigade deployed to the Damai Cartenz Task Force 2024 and Kiwirok Sub-regional Police conducted a patrol to ensure safety and security in Kiwirok district, Bintang Mountains regency, on Monday (15/7/2024).

The patrol aimed to enhance public security and order ahead of the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia and the 2024 regional elections, according to antaranews.com.

The Damai Cartenz Task Force Sector Commander First Inspector Muh. Kazim Lating, said that the patrols were carried out with vigilance to ensure safety along all patrol routes.

"We will continue to strive to provide maximum protection to the community so that the simultaneous regional elections and the 79th Independence Day celebrations can proceed safely and peacefully," he said.

In addition to patrolling, the joint team also engaged with local residents to strengthen cooperation and trust between security forces and the community.

"We hope this activity can provide a sense of security and increase public trust in the presence of security forces," Chief Kazim explained.
