Inp.polri.go.id - Jayapura.  The Damai Cartenz Task Force 2024 s Health Sub-Unit offered medical services to the residents of Kiwirok District in Bintang Mountains, Papua, a remote area with limited access to healthcare.

Brigadier General Faizal Ramadhani, the Head of Damai Cartenz Operations, said on Tuesday (17/9/2024) that the initiative aims to provide critical healthcare assistance, particularly in hard-to-reach regions. 

"Our medical team is dedicated to serving those in Kiwirok who require urgent medical attention," he explained, as quoted by antaranews.com.

The Damai Cartenz Task Force Head of Public Relations, Senior Superintendent Bayu Suseno, emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring healthcare access for isolated communities.

The medical services included general health checks such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and oxygen saturation measurements. The team also administered vitamin injections and provided oral supplements to boost immunity.

"We hope this service will positively impact the health of Kiwirok residents, who often face difficulties accessing medical care," Chief Bayu added.
