Deputy for Operational Affair INP, Police Inspector General Agung Setya Imam Effendi checked the Air Task Force which will carry out its duties during the implementation of the ASEAN Summit in Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). The check was carried out with the Head of the Public Information Bureau of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Police Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan.

Police Inspector General Agung Setya explained the Air Task Force was needed as an anticipatory effort if there was an urgent condition that required a quick evacuation. Therefore, the readiness of the facilities and personnel in the Air Task Force must be ensured.

"This air task force is one of the important task forces in evacuation activities, for assistance activities to other task forces as well as medical evacuation, this helicopter can be used as an air ambulance," said Asops in a written statement, Sunday (7/ 3/23).

According to him, with this Air Task Force, checking the readiness of all security can also be monitored.

"We also ensure that security on land, event venues and accommodations, and places for travel go well," he said.
