inp.polri.go.id – The Si Ipar program of Noken Community Development of Bintang Mountains continued to be held by the personnel in an effort to develop the education sector throughout Papua, particularly those in the remote areas. This time, they held the program in Okmakot, Oksibili District, on Tuesday (11/1). After arriving at the location, the Noken Community Development entourage, led by Iptu Jufri Rambu, was greeted warmly by the local children. Before starting the learning session, the personnel invited the children to pray first. “We want to instill a good habit to these children, including praying before doing any positive activities,” said Iptu Jufri Rambu. Next, the entourage teaches the children how to count and dividing. They also taught about history to the children, how the national heroes of Indonesia fought against colonialism and win the independence from them. “During the learning session, we also prepared some biscuits for the children so that they would not get bored and could follow the program enthusiastically,” said Iptu Jufri. In a different place, the Head of Cartenz Peace Ops Public Relations, Commissioner Ahmad Mustofa Kamal, confirmed that the Si Ipar program routinely held by the Noken Community Development throughout Papua in an effort to improve and educate the next generation of Indonesia in Papua, which eventually could develop their own homeland in the near future. “You cannot seperate the development of a region with the education sectors of that said region. If the youngsters of that region got a good education, in the future they eventually would bring a significant positive change on their homeland,” said Commissioner Ahmad Mustofa Kamal.
