Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Minister of Religion Yaqut Cholil Qoumas says the moment of Eid Al-Fitr could be the blessing for Indonesia in solidifying unity of the state prior the election. "I pray this could be the blessing for us all, blessing for Indonesia and become something that would strengthen our unity after an extraordinary politic contestations," says Minister Yaqut on Wednesday (4/10/2024). He also hopes that the Eid could be the turning point for people to shed away their differences amongst others. "After a month we were tested in Ramadhan, we finally passed it. We have graduated, become the best graduate and Indonesia welcomes it's advancement," said Minister Yaqut. The government previously determined that the 1st of Syawal 1445 or the Eid Al-Fitr was on April 10th, 2024. The determination was decided after isbat trial held by the Ministry of Religions.
