He expressed gratitude for the serene atmosphere, highlighting it as a testament to Papua's high level of tolerance, according to antaranews.com. Speaking after the prayers in Jayapura on Wednesday (10/4/2024), Chief Fakhiri emphasized the importance of maintaining religious harmony, urging for the strengthening of communal bonds to uphold security. Despite acknowledging some areas prone to unrest, he assured that security forces remain vigilant to ensure safety from potential threats. Chief Fakhiri  emphasized the commitment of the Indonesian National Police  (INP) and the Indonesian Military to uphold security across Papua's four provinces and 29 districts and cities.
