Inp.polri.go.id – Cilacap. Fishermen ships in Perikanan Samudera Cilacap Port caught fire on Thursday (4/25/2024) night. The strong winds caused the fire to spread to other ships near it.

Due to most of the ships being made of wood and fibers, the fire grew quickly and spread to nearby boats.

“Four ships caught fire at approximately 19.00 WIB. We are still investigating the cause of the fire. Fortunately, the situation now is under control,” says the Head of Cilacap Firefighter unit, Supriyadi.

It is not yet clear the cause of the fire who were docked at Perikanan Samudera Cilacap Port. Joint unit of firefighters, locals, and fishermen hand in hand extinguishing the fire.
