inp.polri.go.id – Currently, the National Police (Polri) and the Regional Police (Polda) have named 23 members of the Khilafatul Muslimin organization as suspects. "A total of 23 people have been named as suspects for now," explained the Head of the Public Information Bureau (Karo Penmas) of Polri’s Public Relations Division (Divisi Humas), Brigadier General Dr. Ahmad Ramadhan, S.H., M.H., M.Sc., Jakarta, Tuesday (14/6/22). He detailed that the 23 suspects were arrested and processed by several regional police officers. The regional polices are the Central Java (Central Java) Regional Police with six suspects, the Lampung Police with five suspects, the West Java Police with five suspects. "Then, there is East Java Police with one suspect, and the Metro Jaya Police with six suspects," he revealed. According to Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, the police is investigating this case because the Khilafatul Muslimin organization is strongly suspected of wanting to spread false news and the ideas that are contrary to the values of Pancasila. "Like the case handled by the Central Java Regional Police, this group carried out a campaign convoy and distributed their pamphlets or leaflets," explained Karo Penmas.
