Inp.polri.go.id - Depok. Depok Metropolitan Sub-regional Police Chief Senior Superintendent Arya Perdana  revealed that the abuse of 2-year-old toddler at Wensen School daycare was first reported by a former teacher at the facility.

He said on Wednesday (31/7/2024) that  the former teacher, identified as A, informed the parents of the toddler, identified as M, that M had been kicked and beaten by the owner of the daycare, identified as MI.

Chief Arya noted that although M was not in the daycare daily, the abuse occurred on 10 July 2024. While the parents had taken photos of the injuries, the police are awaiting the medical examination report.

Chief Arya added that CCTV footage is under analysis by the Forensic Laboratory, and witness interviews are ongoing. 

Three individuals have been questioned and further investigations are planned, including additional questioning of involved parties, he said.
