General Police Listyo Will Use an Electric Car to Support G20 Summit

inp.polri.go.id -  The Chief of the Indonesian National Police, General Police Listyo Sigit Prabowo, had the chance to use an electric car that will be used for the G20 Summit, Monday (11/14). The electric car is a black Hyundai Ionic 5 type. The Indonesian National Police immediately used the car after attending the 77th Anniversary of Mobile Brigade Corps in the ITDC area, Nusa Dua, Bali. The Mobile Brigade Corps birthday was celebrated in hubly due to the G20 Summit. "We still celebrate the Mobile Brigade Corps anniversary amidst this hectic security operation in a humble way. We wish that our Mobile Brigade Corps will be successful in securing the G20 Summit and of course in the future the corps will be even more better in serving the country," he said. Regarding the use of electric cars that will be used by the National Police Chief as official vehicles, the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo said "This is to support the G20 Summit in Bali which all of its transporations will use electric vehicles," he explained. The G20 Summit marked the beginning of the conversion of electric cars in Indonesia. There are at least 616 units of electric vehicles that will be operated during the G20 Summit. PLN revealed that there are 123 units of Genesis G80 for VVIP guests, 246 Hyundai Ioniq for the delegates, 124 units of Hyundai Ioniq for the lead car, and 123 units of Lexus UX300e for security, all of which is electric vehicles. Meanwhile, the National Police have prepared 176 electric vehicles consisting of 88 units of four-wheeled vehicles and 88 units of two-wheeled vehicles.
