inp.polri.go.id - Bali. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo commended Bali which ranked first in the democracy perception index in Indonesia. 

Bali Province is known as the first region to determine the results of the 2024 Election without dispute.

"Earlier, the Acting Governor said that Bali's democracy perception index was ranked number one. That must be maintained," remarked General Sigit while attending a joint interfaith prayer activity at the Yuda Praja Raksaka Sporting Arena, Denpasar on Tuesday (11/19/2024).

General Sigit hopes that the implementation of the regional elections in Bali will run safely and smoothly. 

"We fully support and pray that the simultaneous regional elections can all run safely, smoothly and well," said General Sigit.

General Sigit emphasized that the spirit of unity and togetherness ahead of the regional elections is very important. According to the Chief of Police, unity and togetherness are important elements in democratic life.

The Chief of Police added that democracy gives people freedom to express and voice their opinions, including in determining choices. He also asked the public to place unity above personal interests.
