Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, confirmed that the price of Pertalite (RON 90) fuel for motorcycles will remain unchanged.

“There will be no changes in the Pertalite price for the approximately 130 million motorcycles. We are not increasing it,” he said in Jakarta.

The government is focusing on improving the distribution of subsidized fuel to ensure it reaches the intended recipients, potentially saving the country around Rp45 trillion in expenses, Minister Luhut said.

He added that the government plans to enhance fuel quality to be more environmentally friendly by reducing sulfur content. Currently health-related subsidies are estimated at around Rp10 trillion of a total Rp 38 trillion due to air pollution.
