inp.polri.go.id - Bogor. The Vice Minister of Home Affairs, Bima Arya Sugiarto found several notes when inspecting the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) at Bosowa Bina Insani School, Bogor City, West Java.
“There are several notes, such as when they were struggling to cut the chicken meat, so in the future we may fillet the meat in serving the meal,” says Bima reported by Antaranews on Monday (1/6/2025).
In his statement, Bima notes that the MBG program is not only aimed to improve the nutrition of the school students, but also improving the economy through the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) in each region.
“The regional economy will be developed and we have stated to our service colleagues that these are all local MSME vendors. We pray that the regional economy will rise and contribute positively to our national economy,” explains Bima.
Bima says the Home Affairs Ministry will ensure the regional government continues to coordinate with the National Nutrition Agency as the organizer of the MBG Program to understand the technical system that is implemented nationally.
“We saw that this system is built adequately, not only in the kitchen preparations, but also the nutrition of the food for the kids. However, we are aware that we still need to improve, including in the cooperation system that may differ in each region,” conclude Bima.
