Head of the Nemangkawi Public Relations Division Task Force Inspects Noken Community Development Fostered Spot in Wesakma Village

Wamena - Head of Public Relations Division of the Papua Regional Police as Head of the Nemangkawi Ops Public Relations Division Task Force, Police Grand Commissioner Ahmad Musthofa Kamal directly inspected several spots built by Noken Community Development in Wesakma Village, Wouma District, Jayawijaya Regency, Wednesday (29/12/2021) afternoon. During his visit, the Head of the Public Relations Division Task Force met with Mr Alpius Lagoan to review the agricultural, fishery and livestock spots owned by Mr Alpius, who the Noken Community Development of Indonesian National Police assisted. Head of Regional Coordinator of the Noken Community Development Jayawijaya, Police Commissioner Attendant Harbani Paruki, stated that the Indonesian National Police, through Noken Community Development, has a Welfare program for State Children (Kasuari) which includes Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries. In this program, Noken Community Development personnel assist residents in vegetables, livestock, and freshwater fish seeds. "This is a form of concern for the community regarding food security in Jayawijaya Regency. Where the community is pleased and enthusiastic about our arrival to establish cooperation in various sectors of the economy," said the Head of Regional Coordinator of the Community Development. Meanwhile, the Secretary of Wesakma Village, Mr Alpius Lagoan, expressed his gratitude to Noken Community Development for collaborating with the community in Wesakma Village for the past two years. "We are very pleased with the visit of the Noken Community Development of the Jayawijaya Departemental Police and the Head of the Nemangkawi Public Relations Division Task Force in reviewing the Fostered Spots in the fields of Agriculture, animal husbandry and fisheries that we have processed in Wesakma Village," he said. Mr Alpius Lagoan also added that he is very supportive of the program initiated by the Indonesian National Police through Noken Community Development. With the results he has now, he can finance his family's life in terms of education. In addition to seeing the Noken Community Development fostered spots, on that occasion, a door to door vaccination was also carried out by the Vaccination Team from the Jayawijaya Departemental Police to the people in Wesakma Village. The uniqueness of the vaccination activity was that there were still people who still wore traditional Wamena clothing when they participated in the vaccination by a team from the Jayawijaya Departemental Police in the village.
