The Director of Public Health Management of the Indonesian Health Ministry, Then Suyanti says that the funds are not special allocation funds (DAK), but a proposal so that the central government would directly send the equipment to the regional governments.
“I asked the regional government in the proposal to manage the equipment very well. I don't want to hear or see that equipment wasted,” said Then firmly.
The Health Ministry will send health equipment to health centers who are deemed eligible for the equipment, such as having adequate room for the equipment, capable workers, and supported by two cadres.
