Indonesia-India Collaboration Gives Positive Impact

inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Communications and Digital officially collaborates with the Indian Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology in digital development.

It is known that this collaboration is the result of a bilateral meeting between President Prabowo Subianto and Prime Minister (PM), India Narendra Modi in New Delhi, on Saturday (1/25/2025).

Minister of Communication and Digital, Meutya Viada Hafid, said that this collaboration brings together the great powers of the digital sector in the Asian region. She believes that this collaboration can produce digital technology innovations that are widely beneficial to society.

"A strategic step that brings together two Asian digital powers to create relevant innovations. Then, of course, it has a real impact on the wider community," she said, in a written statement on Sunday (1/26/2025).

According to him, this Indonesia-India collaboration will better connect humans with the development of current digital technology. The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) commitment includes a number of digital technology developments. 

Among them, the development of new technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT). In addition, the development of public digital infrastructure such as digital identity and improving human resource skills in the information technology sector.

"This collaboration is more than just a technology collaboration. It is a joint effort to connect people, transcend geographical boundaries, and drive innovation according to the needs of society," he said.

It is known that the exchange of MoU between Indonesia and India for digital development was carried out by the Minister of Communication and Digital with the Indian Foreign Minister, S Jaishankar. This important and historic event was witnessed directly by President Prabowo Subianto and the Indian PM, Narendra Modi.
