Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesia will implement health protocols aligned with WHO standards to prevent monkeypox at the High Level Forum on Multi-Stakeholders Partnership (HLF MSP) 2024.
"We will enforce WHO standards, including temperature checks at airports and quarantine facilities," said Bogat Widyatmoko, the Deputy of Politics, Law, Defense and Security from the Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas), on Wednesday (28/8/2024).
He noted that lessons from the COVID-19 pandemic will inform these protocols, as reported by antaranews.com.
Preparations for HLF MSP 2024 are 90% complete, with simulations planned for 30 August, followed by simulations on 31 August and 1 September 2024.
The forum, scheduled in Bali from 1 to 3 September 2024, coincides with the 69th anniversary of the Asia-Africa Conference, known as the Bandung Spirit. The event will emphasize global solidarity and cooperation among developing nations.
HLF MSP 2024 aims to be a landmark in international diplomacy and development, focusing on inclusive and sustainable solutions to global challenges.
