Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo highlighted on Sunday (23/7/2023) the importance of the public being able to convey their aspirations, suggestions, and criticism to the INP. “This is part of the activities that we continue to do, namely to receive inputs and receive criticism from the public,” he said during the Stand Up Comedy and Music Festival Grand Final, which is part of the 77th Bhayangkara Anniversary celebrations, at Kemang Village Mall in South Jakarta. While thanking the public for their participation in the event, the general said that the Stand Up Comedy and Music Festival served as a forum for the public to channel their aspirations, suggestions and criticisms that are crucial for the INP to make improvements and evaluation in order to create a functional police apparatus that is respected and loved by the public. "INP serves the public, therefore, inputs and criticism will be crucial for us to make improvements and evaluations of things that may be lacking. Of course, we have always to make improvements," he explained The INP chief said that listening to public complaints is an important process that the institution does to maintain its commitment to improvement to serve the public. "This is also part of our efforts to continue to bring and make changes in the INP so that in the future it can be better, closer to the public, responsive, and provide the best service for the public," he said.
