inp.polri.go.id - Solo. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo inspect Tirtonadi Terminal, Solo, Central Java.

In his inspection, General Sigit gave his appeal to long-distance bus entrepreneurs to prepare backup drivers for safety.

"We asked for the long-distance trips management to have a backup driver so the two drivers could take turns during the trip," said General Sigit on Saturday (12/21/2024).

General Sigit also emphasized that the existence of backup drivers must be carried out by all fleets, especially long-distance ones. 

“This appeal is for all the bus-travel fleets to prepare backup drivers, especially for those going to the long-distance routes," said General Sigit.

In addition, INP Chief also reminded the importance of ramp checks at terminals to continue to be carried out. Then, he said that health checks and urine tests for drivers were also important to do.
