The Indonesian National Police (INP), in collaboration with the General Election Commission (KPU) and the Election Supervisory Board (Bawaslu) has been prepared to securing the distribution of logistics for the 2024 elections, an official said said on Friday (26/1/2024) The Head of the Public Information Bureau of the INP's Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, said that the police have been actively involved in securing the logistics distribution since the KPU initiated the process. The entire distribution process, from the folding of ballots to the final distribution, is part of the 2023-2024 Mantap Brata Operation from 19 October 2023 to 20 October 2024, antaranews.com reported. The INP has taken preemptive measures to secure logistics distribution in the disadvantaged, outermost, and remote areas, border regions, and  small islands. "For areas like the islands, the INP has dedicated operational support, including Polaiud," Truno explained, referring to the air and maritime police whose main role s to facilitate water transportation for other task forces involved in the Mantap Brata Operation, including the distribution of election logistics.
