INP Deploys 1,438 Officers to Secure IAF Summit in Bali

Inp.polri.go.id -. Denpasar.  The Indonesian National Police (INP) has deployed 1,438 traffic officers to ensure the smooth movement of VVIPs, VIPs, and delegates attending the 2nd Indonesia-Africa Forum (IAF) and High-Level Forum on Multi-Stakeholders Partnership (HLF MSP) in Bali from 1 to 3 September 2024.

Brigadier General Raden Slamet Widodo, the Head of the Escort, Regulation, Security, and Control of Motor Vehicle Traffic (Walrolakir) Task Force of the OperastionPuri Agung II, said on Saturday (31/8/2024) that 328 of these officers will focus on securing and escorting key guests. 

The operation includes coordination with the Presidential Security Force, the Indonesian Military (TNI), and event organizers, according to antaranews.com.

For the gala dinner at Intercontinental Bali Resort, traffic management will be in place across six key areas from Sanur to Nusa Dua. The INP has also prepared traffic accident analysis units for any incidents.
