The Attaché of the Indonesian National Police (INP) in Manila carries out intensive operational assistance with the Philippine National Police (PNP) to tackle online scamming crimes. This step is in line with the direction of the Chief of the Indonesian National Police (INP), Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo regarding the prosecution of the Criminal Act of Human Trafficking (TPPO).
Head of the Public Information Bureau Public Relations Division of the Indonesian National Police INP), Police Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan said, a joint operation had been carried out with the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), ACG (Anti Cybercrime group), DI, CIDG PNP, Attache INP Manila, Police Attache Malaysia, Vietnam Police Attache, and China Police Attache to carry out the rescue of scamming facilities, which include Pig Butchering activities, Online Casino, Telecom Fraud, Cryptocurrency Investment Scam, Shopping Scam, and Romance Scam.
The joint operation activities were carried out on June 27, 2023.
"A joint operation at the online scamming company 'Hongtai/Xincuan Network Technology INC' located in Las Pinas Alabang, Metro Manila Philippines, resulted in a total rescue of 2,714 people," said Police Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, Friday (30/6/23) ).

Furthermore, each party involved in the joint operation will carry out an investigation. "And repatriation will likely be carried out," explained Police Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan.
The steps that have been taken so far are recording hundreds of Indonesian citizens who are victims, as well as coordinating with the Human Trafficking Task Force (TPPO) Criminal Investigation Board of the INP.
"To deepen information on whether Indonesian citizens are victims of human trafficking (TPPO) or voluntary workers who receive facility support from companies. Indonesian citizens have also filled out TIP forms," said Police Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan.
