Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Head of Indonesian National Police (INP) Public Relations Division, Inspector General Sandi Nugroho convened the assembly of Puri Agung Ops Public Relations Task Force. The operation is held to monitor the 10th World Water Forum in Bali on May 18th to May 25th.

In his remarks, Sandi says that the international event is not so different from the other international events and could be the perfect opportunity for Indonesia in introducing their tourism sector, particularly Bali.

“INP, with the Indonesian Military Force (TNI) and related stakeholders, together will assure that this event will go smoothly,” says Sandi on Monday (5/6/2024).

Sandi says that the operation will include 5,791 personnel consisting of 2,485 INP personnel, 2,706 Bali Regional Police personnel, 300 East Java Regional Police personnel, and 300 West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police personnel.

He then highlighted the personnel involved in the ops to assure that all of their activities will provide a positive contribution for the event security. Socialization also must involve various parties, from influencers, local and national media, and also the ambassador of the event.

“The appointment of Indonesia as the host of the 10th World Water Forum becomes an important moment to show the world our commitment and contribution to water resources,” stressed Sandi.

In his conclusion, Sandi underscores that the success of the operation lies in a solid cooperation between the police and related institutions in maintaining security, safety, and order. And for that, personnel are instructed to build a strong and good coordination.

It is worth noting that the World Water Forum will be attended by 43 state leaders, four international organizations, 194 ministers, and more than 17,000 participants from across 172 countries. The 10th World Water Forum held in Bali took the theme of Water for Shared Prosperity.
