INP Predicts the Peak of Homecoming Traffic Flow to be On March 28

inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo says the peak of the homecoming traffic flow would be on March 28 with the return flow to be on April 5.

"The peak of the homecoming flow is predicted to occur between March 28 and 30 and the peak of the return flow is likely to occur between April 5 and 7, 2025," said the Chief of Police on Thursday (3/20/2025).

In preparing the smooth homecoming flow, the Ketupat Operation will involve all stakeholders such as the Indonesian National Military (TNI), Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas), Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), Ministry of Transportation, and Pramuka. The number of personnel deployed was 164,000.

"The total personnel in securing the homecoming season is 164,298 joint personnel," said the Chief of Police.

General Sigit also said that there are 2,335 posts on alert consisting of 1,738 security posts, 788 service posts, 309 integrated posts with 126,000 vital objects to be secured.

"We have secured 126,736 security objects ranging from mosques, Eid prayer locations, shopping centers, terminals, stations, ports, airports and tourist attractions," said the Chief of Police.

General Sigit has also prepared a hotline service for complaints about the homecoming flow and hopes that the 2025 homecoming service to be running smoothly and accordingly.
