inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian Record Museum (MURI) gave an award to the Indonesian National Police (INP) Assessment Center on Wednesday (10/16/2024).

The awards in three various categories were given by MURI to INP Assessment Center as it has become an internal assessment center with the most assessors in a period of 15 years, an internal assessment center with the most assessor training in a period of 13 years and an assessment center that has collaborated with the most ministries.

The Assistant for Chief of INP Human Resources, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo appreciated the award given by Muri.

"This award is a motivation for us to continue to improve the quality of our services. We hope that the INP Assessment Center can continue to maintain the professionalism of the service quality," said Dedi.

The INP Assessment Center is an evaluation method used by INP to assess the abilities, competencies, and characters of prospective police members. This method involves various types of tests such as psychological tests, interviews, simulations, and skills assessments that aim to obtain a comprehensive picture of the individual's potential and readiness to carry out police duties.

INP Assessment Center is equipped with the latest technology and supported by a competent team of assessors. Through the INP Assessment Center, it is hoped that it can help the institution in selecting candidates who best suit the demands of the task and the vision of the institution.

The Staff of INP Human Resources is committed to continuing to improve the quality and service of the institution starting from the recruitment selection process which applies the Clean, Transparent, Accountable, Humanist (BETAH) principles. Furthermore, Dedi explained that the selection process in INP does not stop at the recruitment process.

"The process of coaching and maintaining Personnel in INP is based on the Merit System. This enables us to place the right person in the right position. All member records are recorded in One HR which greatly helps police leaders to make decisions," added Dedi.
