The Indonesian National Police (INP) has taken extensive measures to ensure the safety and comfort of the public during the 2023 Eid al-Fitr homecoming by setting up thousands of posts across various regions. These posts have been categorized into three types, namely Security Posts (Pospam), Service Posts (Posyan), and Integrated Posts.

Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, the Head of Public Relations Division of INP, explained that INP, working in partnership with stakeholders, has established a total of 2,694 posts, consisting of 1,559 Pospam, 745 Posyan, and 390 integrated posts.

"These three types of posts are strategically located, including in trouble spots and black spots. We have also prepared several traffic schemes, such as contraflow, one way, and traffic diversion," he said on Wednesday (5/4/23).

To ensure that the supply of essential goods, livestock feed, fertilizer, and bank money remains uninterrupted, the INP has granted exemption from the travel restrictions to vehicles transporting these items.
