Inp.polri.go.id - Denpsar. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo and the Indonesian Miiltary (TNI) Commander General Agus Subiyanto have guaranteed robust security for the 2nd Indonesia Africa Forum (IAF) Summit in Bali through coordinated efforts.
The high-level summit, which will bring together VVIPs and VIPs, is set to take place in Nusa Dua.
During a briefing in Denpasar, Chief Sigit emphasized the importance of teamwork between the INP and the TNI to provide maximum security, as reported by antaranews.com.
He noted that clear division of responsibilities is crucial, with the TNI handling VVIPs and Polri focusing on VIPs. Effective communication and coordination are key to swiftly addressing any potential threats or disruptions, Chief Sigit said.
He also highlighted that while there are no serious threats at present, all personnel must be well-informed of their roles and responsibilities.
Chief Sigit urged officers to engage with the local community, especially in managing traffic disruptions due to the summit.
