Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Traffic Corps Chief assures that the vehicle plate number with the code “ZZ” will not be exempted from the odd-even policy and will still be fined if violating the law.

The Director of Registration and Identification of INP Traffic Corps, Brigadier General Yusri Yunus during Technical Coordination Meeting of Police and Military on Thursday (5/2/2024) confirms that the ZZ plate number did not have law immunity.

However, Yunus says that the policy still can be exempted to the ZZ plate number during escort.

“For officials that their movement requires escort, such as TNI Commander and Police General, they will use a vehicle with the ZZT plate number, and their escort entourage will be exempted from the policies,” says Yunus.

At the same occasion, Yunus also remarks that the ticketing against the special plate number is declining recently. However, he addressed that now, there are many who sold the fake official plate numbers.
