Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Traffic Corps is set to mobilize 231 electric vehicles for operational duties during the 10th World Water Forum in Bali from 18 to 25 May 2024. 

The Traffic Corps Director of Law Enforcement Brigadier General Raden Slamet Santoso said on Friday (3/5/2024) that the fleet includes 64 two-wheelers and 45 four-wheelers for VVIP escort, along with 68 two-wheelers and 50 four-wheelers for VIP guests. 

There will be 2 mobile command units and 1 traffic accident analysis vehicle, he added as reported by antaranews.com. 

These vehicles will play vital roles in ensuring escort security, route security, and parking security throughout the event. The deployment of the electric vehicles aims to guarantee safety, security, and smooth traffic flow, thereby enhancing Indonesia's international standing, Chief Slamet said.

This initiative is part of Puri Agung Operation 2024, which will run from 17 to 26 May 2024.
