Following the report lodged against Denny Indrayana for allegedly leaking data related to the Constitutional Court's (MK) verdict, the investigators of the Criminal Investigation Agency of Indonesian National Police (INP) have expressed their intention to summon several witnesses. However, the identities of these witnesses have not been disclosed at this time.
"The examination of witnesses will be scheduled to take place promptly," said the Head of the Public Relations Division of INP Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan on Thursday (20/7/23).
He further mentioned that in this case, the investigators have already sent the Letter of Investigation Commencement to the Public Prosecutor, the reported individual, and the complainant.
As a reminder, Denny Indrayana was reported to the Criminal Investigation Agency of INP under report number LP/B/128/V/2023/SPKT/BARESKRIM POLRI on May 31, 2023.
The report was made based on Article 45A paragraph 2 in conjunction with Article 28 paragraph 2 of Law No. 19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Law No. 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions, and/or Article 14 paragraph 1 and paragraph 2 and Article 15 of Law No. 1 of 1946 concerning Criminal Law Regulations, and/or Article 112 of the Indonesian Criminal Code, and/or Article 207 of the Indonesian Criminal Code.
