Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Metro Jaya Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Karyoto has instructed his members to provide the best service for people traveling for the homecoming season. One of the instances is by providing a place to store vehicles in sector and sub-regional police. “As usual, we will instruct sector police chiefs and sub-regional police chiefs to provide a place to store vehicles so that people could go to their hometown comfortably. This measure is believed to be able to prevent car and motorbike theft,” said Karyoto on Saturday (3/23/2023). Furthermore, police will also routinely patrol around the neighborhood during the homecoming season, assisted by local security and the people. “I preferably pushed the neighborhood security system as we also intensified our patrol operation. Indeed, theft often occurs because there is a window of opportunity, and we are here to suppress those opportunities,” conclude Karyoto. (ad/rz/pr/nm)
