Mackbon., the Chief of Jayapura City Sub-regional Police,, called on those attempting to disrupt public order or provoke unrest to cease such activities. He  emphasized the importance of direct communication for expressing dissatisfaction, discouraging any form of unwarranted provocation. "Feel free to express your concerns directly to the concerned parties. There is no need for burning or incitement; such actions are neither commendable nor civilized," Chief Victor said on Thursday (11/1/2024). He added that all aspirations can be communicated, and the police are open to listening to the concerns of the community.
