inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo inaugurated the construction and repairs of 27 road sections with a total length of 217 kilometers in East Nusa Tenggara on Monday (10/1/2024).

The infrastructure development and infrastructure, says Jokowi, cost the government a total of IDR 737 billion.

During a press conference, President Jokowi underscores the importance of road infrastructure in improving logistics and people mobility.

“Road is the most important infrastructure for the mobility of people, logistics, and accelerating the distribution of logistics. In East Nusa Tenggara, in 2023 we constructed and repaired 27 road sections with a length of 217 kilometers with the total cost of IDR 737 billion,” says Jokowi on Tuesday (10/2/2024).

Jokowi hopes that the road can boost the local economy and improve the welfare of the surrounding people. The previous badly damaged road now is smooth, free of bumps and can be easily accessed by the people.
